What we collect, and why.
A plain statement of how BidSeek handles the information you share. Effective June 9, 2026.
Who we are
BidSeek is a federal and SLED contract intelligence product for the physical trades, operated by Abakos Analytics LLC (“we,” “us”), a New York limited liability company. You can reach us at research@abakos.io. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Waitlist: when you request access, we collect your email, and optionally your trade segment, state, and any notes you add. Attribution: we record basic first-touch marketing context (campaign parameters in the link you arrived from, the referring site’s domain, and the page you landed on) so we know which channels reach trades operators. Account data (when you receive an invite): the company profile and login details you enter. Technical: standard server logs (such as IP address and request metadata) kept briefly for security and reliability.
How we use it
To contact you about access and product updates, to prioritize coverage and bring founding accounts on in order, to operate and secure the service, and to understand which channels work. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
How we share it
We share information only with service providers that run the product on our behalf, under contract and only as needed: hosting, transactional email, and privacy-friendly analytics. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the service. We do not sell or rent your data.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers, so the site does not show a cookie banner. Marketing attribution is stored in your browser’s session storage, not in cookies, and is cleared when you close the tab. Any product analytics we use is configured to be cookieless.
Data retention
We keep waitlist details until you ask us to remove them or until they are no longer needed. Server logs are kept for a short period. Account data is retained for the life of the account and a reasonable period afterward.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time. Email research@abakos.io and we will handle the request. You can stop sharing attribution by clearing your browser session.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
BidSeek is a business product and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product grows. We will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to let you know.
